原田　一宏

東南・南アジアにおける主に熱帯林を対象に、グローバルな森林保全政策とローカルな社会による資源利用の共生のあり方に関する研究をし、政府と地域社会が共生できる政策について検討している。現在、扱っているテーマは、（１）森林資源をめぐる政府と地域住民の協働資源管理（国立公園管理、REDD+（途上国の森林減少・劣化からの排出削減、エコツーリズム、人間と野生動物の関係）（２）プライベート・ガバナンスとしての認証制度（森林認証制度、フェアトレードコーヒー）、（３）参加型森林管理（コミュニティフォレストリー）、（４）住民による慣習的な資源管理・利用（非木材林産物の利用、慣習林）などで、インドネシアのガジャマダ大学やブータンのブータン王立大学との共同研究も実施している。
I have been researching about the coexistence of global forest conservation policies and resource utilization by local communities, and trying to explore policies which enable government and local communities to coexist in mainly tropical forests in South and Southeast Asian countries. My current works include; (1) collaborative forest resources management between government and local people (national park management, REDD+ (Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation), ecotourism, relationships between human and wildlife), (2) certification as private governance (forest certification, fair trade coffee), (3) participatory forest management (community forestry), (4) customary resource management and utilization (use of non-timber forest products, customary forest). I am doing collaborative research with Gadja Mada University, Indonesia and Royal University of Bhutan.
